As an HIV Counseling & Testing Volunteer, you will be part of our clinical team providing essential services that save lives. This role requires healthcare qualifications and a compassionate approach to working with people affected by HIV.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-test and post-test HIV counseling
- Perform rapid HIV testing following national protocols
- Provide adherence counseling for ART clients
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
- Complete accurate documentation and reporting
- Participate in continuous training and updates
Required Qualifications:
- Registered nurse, counselor, or medical laboratory technician
- Valid practicing certificate from regulatory body
- Training in HIV testing and counseling (HTC) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Non-judgmental attitude and respect for diversity
